Taste of Fort Collins 2011

This past weekend was the annual Taste of Fort Collins in Old Town, and boy was it a hot and fun weekend. So many people attended, and it was a great pleasure to meet so many new wonderful customers! I love going to shows because seeing all the positive, wonderful reactions people have to the jewelry makes it all worth while. Seeing a customer put on a piece of my jewelry and just light up because it is so them is the reason I love making jewelry. So thank you to all my amazing customers!! I could not do it without you!

Third Eye Blind (one of my FAV 90s bands) headlined on Saturday- aaaahhhmaazing.

I also wanted to send out a very special *thank you* to my incredible friends and family who came out to support my work. Many of you bought items, helped me watch the booth when I needed to get food or a moment away, sat with me and entertained me as well as the customers, and stayed by my side with unconditional support the entire time (even if you were there for 5 minutes or the whole weekend- each moment you helped support me means the world!!) SO thank you dearly to my darling friends and family- you guys all rock, and I would not be where I am today without you. <3

being southern is a state of mind..

Hello dear blog readers, if any of you still check that is! I am so sorry for my absence from cyberspace. I have moved twice in the past two months, and Jennifer Cervelli Jewelry has been busy attending shows and traveling the nation!

Summer time is most definitely my favorite time of the year, I love hot sunshine filled days! In May, I attended the Austin Renegade Craft Fair, which was an amazing fun filled weekend! Austin will always be a dear place in my heart, many of my most loved friends live there, and quite frankly, Austin just rocks as a city. I went to Austin with lots of new designs inspired by the Great State.

After Austin, I went to the Big Easy! One of my favorite cities in this nation, New Orleans continues to shine in beauty and luxury every time I visit. My love for the South was renewed and made stronger than ever. I went as a guest to one of the most gorgeous weddings I have ever seen- the couple was warm and wonderfully in love. The ceremony was touching and sweet, and the reception was like a dream - on a restored, absolutely gorgeous plantation home in Natchez, Mississippi. Ah what a weekend. . .

hello SPRING? is that you?

It's been beautifully warm here in Colorado the past few days, I really am looking forward to spring time. Been busy busy bee these past few weeks! Finished the first copy of my wholesale catalog, and I already have many ideas/changes for the second version! But I have been submitting it to lots of stores, so keep your fingers crossed I make some sales!! Another exciting accomplishment is my website launch!! Just finished redoing and updating my website, so be sure to visit it - http://www.jennifercervelli.com. It feels great to have my own, workable website that I can update on my own, besides having my etsy. SO yay! Spring time please come early- I am already getting used to this 60 degree weather.

new year, colder weather

Welcome, 2011!! So far this year has been great for Jennifer Cervelli Jewelry. Had quite a few sales the first few days of January, which was a wonderful start to the new year. (One all the way to Australia!! Thank you Brianna!) I am working hard on making JCJ's first ever line sheets!! Very exciting, but also a whole lot of work. First, tons of photographing! Then uploading photos, editing photos, photoshopping them all to be on similar pages, write descriptions, and worst of all WHOLESALE PRICING!! Arghhhh- pricing has always been my nemisis. I don't know why, but I just do not feel confident in my pricing. I am always worried I am either pricing too low or too high! I want my jewelry to be affordable, but of course I want it to be my sole income. Any tips from the rest of you in cyber space?!
Once these line sheets are finished (I hope that happens soon!), I can expand to selling in stores over the country, which would be amazing.
Ooooohhh 2011.... so far so good, let's keep it going!

xoxo.

Moved and Renegade Craft Fair!

Hi all- sorry I have been slacking on this blog. I know, I know... everyone always says that. But I have been super busy moving to Colorado and getting jewelry made for the Renegade Craft Fair which was this past weekend in Los Angeles. Jennifer Cervelli Jewelry had a great time, and thank you for everyone who came out to the fair, especially those who went home with new jewelry!

I have been super busy making lots of new items for the etsy shop. Tomorrow I will be having a photoshoot for all the new items, so stay posted for a ton of brand new listings tomorrow for you last minute holiday shoppers!

I would also like to thank my dear friend Amy for featuring Jennifer Cervelli Jewelry in her lovely blog, Miss Amy Loves L.A. - check her out here- http://missamylovesla.tumblr.com/post/2301674520/bright-as-the-sun

I love love love the holidays. We got our tree, and we just started decorating it! Being in Colorado really makes it feel like the holidays are here, more so than living in the Bay Area. I am already loving Colorado so much! I will be back tomorrow to post about all the new, shiny lovely items.

xoxo!
